About the Mockups
The 3 mockups were NOT part of my volunteer responsibilities. Rather, it is an additional exercise in my spare time to help me practice my UI design skills with a clear objective.
MOCKUP #1
EMBRACING NATURE
Design intention
-The nature in the imagery reflects the nature present on the wellness center ranch (using nature for therapy)
-The sunrise symbolizes a new life for sex trafficking survivors
-The use of orange/purple overlay gives a sense of warmth and hope; a feeling that has been long forgotten by sex trafficking survivors

MOCKUP #2
FREEDOM
Design intention
-Imagery of a bird to represent freedom to reflect the sex trafficking survivor’s situation
-Imagery also conveys a sense of community via a flock of birds, not a single bird
-The use of orange gives a sense of warmth and hope; a feeling that has been long forgotten by sex trafficking survivors

MOCKUP #3
A HELPING HAND
Design intention
-The stark contrast reflects the severity and seriousness of sex trafficking
-Despite the serious tone, it is balanced out with a orange color temperature to represent hope
-Imagery can help target audience feel they can be the ones to lend a helping hand
